Is mobility training suitable for me?
This program is designed to help women to:

Do I need to be in shape to participate?
No, these are low impact sessions created to benefit everyone. The only requirement is the ability to get up & down off the floor.
How is this different than yoga or stretching?
Mobility Chicks sessions move you through different positions, stretches & exercises in a constant but steady flow, holding positions for no longer than 2-5 seconds. These movements are more bio mechanically based & are a direct approach to the science of functional movement. The movements & stretches are considered dynamic, focusing on range of motion rather than muscle lengthening, which is what stretching concentrates on.
What do I need to participate?
You will need your own yoga or fitness mat, a water bottle to stay hydrated, comfy clothes that you can move around in without restricting your movements & a towel.
Mobility sessions are encouraged without shoes, so you can bring socks with you or you can move around barefoot depending on your comfort level.
